It’s true. I do.
I’ll be honest with you. Can I just do that?
If I were to let myself dream, this is what it would look like:
A two-story house with a wrap around porch
On several acres of land (I’m not picky, but according to my husband, the more the merrier)
With a huge garden (hydroponics even!)
And goats
And a miniature dairy cow
And a beautiful chicken coop with big fat chickens running around.
{And everyone in our family has the ability to eat from any of these animals with no allergic reactions!!}
Now, if you know me or knew me growing up, the first thing you probably did when you read my dream is chuckle. Or outright laugh. It’s okay, you can pick yourself up off the floor now. I’m smiling as I write this. It’s funny! I NEVER thought in all my life that this would be my DREAM!! It makes me laugh, too. But that’s okay!
For one thing, people can change, and another: it’s okay to let yourself dream. How else do dreams get accomplished? Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. It’s okay to have a little faith, and be happy with the process.

In the meantime, there’s this ebook I recently read that really lets me dream.
Friends, if you have chickens, this book is for you. But more specifically, if you’re dreaming of having backyard chickens one day or are already in the planning stages, I highly recommend you download a copy for yourself.
It’s a thing of beauty.
And it’s not just because it’s about backyard chickens. I mean, just look at these pages, they’re gorgeous!
This guide will prepare you for the ins and outs of chicken-keeping in all its gloriousness. You’ll learn about the benefits of keeping backyard chickens (hello. . . FREE RANGE EGGS!!). And the drawbacks. The costs involved.
They’ll familiarize you with how chickens act and what to expect. You’ll learn more about which breeds give the best eggs. How to care for the cute fluffy chicks. How to make the healthiest homemade chicken feed, and what NOT to feed your chickens.
And really so much more.
This book, which is just total eye candy, makes me want to dream some more. Even though our HOA doesn’t allow backyard chickens (for now!) and we’re still dealing with egg allergies (for now!), and we have no plans drawn out for having backyard chickens, I still love having this book. Because you know, one day . . . you just never know.
Dreams can come true. Stranger things have happened.
This ebook would make a beautiful addition to any chicken lover’s library. I loved it. Tucked away in my iPad, it’s with me wherever I go. I can always print it out too, for when we get serious about chickens.
Whether you’re ready to take the next step in having more control over your food supply, or you just want to dream like me, this ebook will be waiting for you.
