Quick Easy Homemade Glass Cleaner

Time for a quick do-it-yourself recipe. This one is for homemade glass cleaner, and let me tell you – this stuff works! I’ll NEVER buy any other window cleaner again.

It’s frugal- the total bottle (not including the cost of the plastic spray bottle) of this homemade glass cleaner will probably cost you less than a quarter. I don’t think I can actually calculate the cost, but it’s less than a penny per use. I’ve been using the same bottle for years!

Okayyy. . . maybe I should clean my windows more *often*. But still – this will last you a good long while. πŸ™‚

It’s easy – everyone should have these ingredients readily on hand.

It works! The vinegar cuts grime, and the alcohol causes the spray to evaporate quickly which equals: NO STREAKS.

  1. It strikes me as odd that rubbing alcohol is used as a glass cleaner. I would think that it is too harsh of a product and would scratch the glass. Is it great for cleaning glass because it is alcohol based?
