I’ll be the first to admit: I’m a little weird.
I can’t really figure out why I love making my own stuff at home. Sure, in our health journey I’ve learned a ton about the stuff most makeup manufacturers don’t want us to know. Same for hair, and body products.
But even before I knew all this, 20 years ago in high school I was melting red crayons in mineral oil on the stove, just so I could make my own lipstick. It worked really well, too, no joke.
Are you the same way? Do you love DIY projects, that you are so excited about but really don’t need to do because there’s a sink full of dishes that need to be washed? Haha. Although i haven’t tried making any diy makeup… im all about ingredients! I see so many others still automatically going straight to the designer brands & then complaining about their skin. Which is why i decided to start blogging myself. Ive made my own diy exfoliator & mssks for many many years & i find they work better than most ones i could easily buy. However, its our skin. We should all know exactly what the ingredients are, that we are applying to our skin.
